Fees and Rebates
Please note you do not require a referral to attend a psychologist. However, if you wish to claim a Medicare rebate you require a referral from your GP, who must prepare a Mental Health Care Plan. Psychiatrists can also make referrals.

To make an appointment
- Fees are $260/session. Appointments after 5:00 pm are $280/session.
- If you have been referred under a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP), you will be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $137.05/session after you have settled your account in full on the day of your appointment (for up to 10 sessions per calendar year).
- Medicare rebates are available for telehealth appointments.
- Payment in full is required prior to a telehealth session, either by direct deposit or by credit card.
- Please note, no Medicare rebate can be claimed on couples sessions.
- Private health fund rebates vary, so please check with your fund.
- Plus 1 Psychology is not a bulk billing practice.
- There is a gap fee payable for patients attending under a TAC or WorkSafe Victoria claim. Please contact the practice for further details.
- Fees for patients attending under DVA, an AIS referral, and The Redress Scheme, are billed directly to the relevant funding body.
- Gill is not a registered provider under NDIS.
